The major aims of the Biomarker Analysis Unit are the investigation of genetic alterations related to tumor progression, evaluation of the association of the genetic aberrations and clinicopathological parameters of tumors. These might be lead to the identification tumor type specific oncogenes and tumorsuppressorgenes having important role during tumor genesis. The staff members of the Unit have comprehensive Hungarian and international connections.
